A car manufacturer Honda is also going to join these companies.
The company indicated this while talking to the media.
Honda India President and CEO Takuya Sumura said that it is very difficult to reduce the Real Driving Emission (RDE) in the engine.
He said that many European companies have already stopped producing diesel cars in the European market.
Real Driving Emission (RDE) standard will be strictly implemented in India in 2023
Along with this, the Corporate Average Fuel Economy 2 standard will also be implemented in the country.
After the implementation of this rule, it will be mandatory for car manufacturers to meet the emission standards in lab testing as well as in real life.
