The film's distributor, Liger, claims Vijay Deverakonda's failure at the box office was caused by sabotage.
Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, is the most recent film to be affected by the #BoycottBollywood movement
The movie, which had a promising beginning but was courting a number of problems, was unable to achieve box office success
Liger's distributor for south India, Warangal Srinu, claims that the movie has been sabotaged.
Srinu claimed that there appears to be a "concerted effort" against the team and that the Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday movie cost him Rs 100 crore in the previous year.
"Sabotage is the word," Srinu remarked in a conversation.
As on Liger, I have lost something to the tune of 66% of my investment, the distributed added as he noted that he lost Rs 100 crore over the past year.
Regarding Vijay's contentious comments prior to the release of Liger, Warangal said, "I can't say whether he was overconfident.
He continued by saying that the decline in movie theatre attendance will cause upheaval for many families who rely on them for their daily needs.
